Many of us who raise sheep
do so for the wool. We like clean strong fibers that don't have vegetable matter and other debris
mixed in. The solution is to keep your sheep covered. The covers we use and recommend are Matilda
brand covers. They come in seven sizes* from 27 ½ inches to 47 ½ inches. They are
made of light weight breathable nylon. They do an excellent job of keeping the fleece clean and
allow normal wool growth. They will not interfere with breeding when worn by rams or ewes and
